Count plans, results and differences

Count plans​

The administrator creates a count plan and assigns it to a person; the person counts on mobile.

The Create count plan form:

  • Count type: Full, Cycle or Ad hoc count; by warehouse or by shelf.
  • Blind count: the counter does not see the expected quantity.
  • Difference threshold (units and %): if the difference is greater than both, the line is counted again.
  • Maximum rounds: after this many rounds the difference goes to the administrator for a decision.

A rule you do not choose in the form takes the warehouse's new counting plan defaults (Settings › Counting); at first: blind count, threshold 1 unit and 2%, at most 3 rounds.

In the list, Start and Complete are open to everyone; Edit, Delete and Cancel to the administrator. There are Plans with variance on this page and Awaiting a decision on this page chips.

Deciding on a difference​

In the plan detail you filter the lines by With variance, Equal, Not counted, Awaiting approval and In recount. In the Decision column the administrator can:

  • Approve: the counted quantity becomes valid.
  • Recount: a new recount task is opened (optionally with another person in charge).
  • Reject: the line's count is rejected.

Count results​

Counts sent from mobile: every counted line, the system quantity, the counted quantity and the difference (including lines with no difference). There are date, warehouse, difference status and status filters. The detail shows the count summary, the counted lines and the Logo slips created; Open in Movements goes to the write record. The administrator sees all counts of the organization, a warehouse user only their own counts.

Records where the expected and the found quantity do not match: expected, found, difference, reason and document.
