Planning

Management › Planning compares today's and tomorrow's work with the team's shift time: does the work fit, which task will miss its due time, who is overloaded, which zone is busy. It is not a "what if" calculation; it works on real tasks and the real shift. Only the WMS administrator sees it.

Choose the day with the Today and Tomorrow tabs at the top. The page refreshes itself every minute; Refresh refreshes it at once.

Indicators

IndicatorMeaning
Planned workThe remaining work of the day's tasks, in hours. The hours come from the warehouse's measured labour standards (time per stop, line, unit and walking).
CapacityTeam × shift time. Today: people working today × the rest of the shift. Tomorrow: the usual team (median head count of the last 14 days) × the whole shift.
GapWork beyond the capacity. Red when greater than zero.
Due-date riskTasks that will not make their due time at this pace or do not fit in the shift; below it, the number of late ones.
PoolTasks not assigned to anyone, and their hours.

The Load bar below draws the work on the same scale as the capacity; the part beyond the capacity is red.

Which tasks belong to which day:

  • Today: tasks with a due time ending before tomorrow (including late ones) and all open tasks without a due time.
  • Tomorrow: tasks due tomorrow. If there is work beyond today's capacity, a "Work that may carry over from today" note appears.
Tasks whose hours cannot be computed

If a task type has no labour standard yet (not enough completed tasks have built up), tasks of that type are counted but not included in the hours; the page says so with a yellow note. The standards are shown on Settings › Labour and shifts.

Person and zone load

  • Load per person: the expected time of the work assigned to each person against the person's remaining shift time. The excess is red and marked Overloaded. A green dot shows that the person is working today.
  • Load per zone: the expected time of the pending lines by the shelf zone. Shelves with no zone defined are on a separate row.

The day's tasks and assignment

The table sorts the tasks by due time; there are All, Pool and At risk filters. A late task's row has a red stripe, an at-risk task's a yellow one; the due-time cell shows the projected finish.

To give a task to a person, click Assign on the row (Change if it is already assigned), choose the person from the list and save. The list shows only people who can carry out that task type. The assignment of a task in progress cannot be changed here.

Alongside

  • Waves waiting for release: draft waves; click to open the wave (Waves).
  • Recommendations: the number of open recommendations and the first ones (Recommendations).

The hour-by-hour workload chart is on the Performance › Workload tab.
